Heat stress activates the sympathetic nervous system, increasing heart rate and starting cooling process. By activating the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight mode), your body may experience some of the discomfort associated. Always remember to build up your tolerance gradually and pay attention to your body. One may find that they can improve their tolerance to stress with weekly practice.
